I am currently working as full time Assistant Professor in Communications at The University of Nicosia, Cyprus. I am also a performance poet, radio broadcaster and DJ and in these spheres of my life I am known as Haji Mike.
My interests are in DJ’ing, poetry, music… much of what I have done artistically/musically relates to what I write on/am involved with academically these days from an auto-ethnographic and ethnographic perspectives.
